Reuters pension fund members vote for a new member-appointed trustee.

The vacancy on the foundation's seven-member board of directors arose because one of the three trustees elected by rpf members, tim castle, is harassing a teacher in, also not running for re-election.

Two candidates running for the position:

Martin davies joined reuters in 1991 as uki's marketing project manager. And became director of strategic planning. In the thirteen years since he left reuters, he has worked in the financial services industry and led a company that manages private and public sector pension funds.Jeffrey sanderson ended a 20-year career at reuters in 2000 as managing director of equity and bond transaction systems. He is chairman and trustee of a charity that raises money for films in the fields of health, education and agriculture in developing countries.

Voting is by mail or online. Voting closes at 17:00 gmt on wednesday 10 december. All 7,500 members of the rpf are eligible to vote. ■
